You may have read about our use of third party analytics tools in a recent news article. First of all, we would like to reassure you that we take the handling of customer data seriously and investigated our own practices as a matter of top priority. To ensure that we are compliant with privacy requirements, we are members of the kidSAFE Seal Program. This involves adherence to stringent guidelines, including the COPPA Rule. Although we found that previously some of the data we collect to customize each child’s learning experience was incorrectly being sent to Facebook, none of this data was registered, processed or saved by Facebook. It was never used by Facebook, who deleted it on receipt. As soon as we discovered this, we took action to resolve the situation by removing the relevant code, and uploaded a new copy of our app to the App Store. You can be safe in the knowledge that none of your child’s data is used by anyone outside of Curious World.

As stated in our privacy policy, which you can read on our website or within our app, we do not share information with third parties aside from service providers who help us in the running of the app. For example, we use an analytics tool to see which content is most popular, and make decisions on future releases that our users will enjoy. Our service providers are not permitted to use your personal information for their own purposes, and we do not share your personal information with any other third party.

We are a company committed to fuelling children’s curiosity and building a lifelong love of learning. Our top priority is to ensure Curious World is safe, and provides children with a fun and ad-free learning experience.
